Members of the Oak Heritage and Preservation Association have been planning events for this fall that we hope you will enjoy. For September we are combining TWO events into ONE:
- Smithsonian Magazine Museum Day, Saturday, Sept 21. As part of a Smithsonian program celebrating American museums, we will offer FREE admission to the Oak Ridge History Museum on Saturday, Sept 21 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The public is invited.
- The ORHPA will celebrate our 20th Anniversary this month. A special program will be offered on Saturday, Sept 21 from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. on early Oak Ridge, with a tribute to our beloved pioneer and photographer Ed Westcott! Come see the excellent presentation developed by Don Hunnicutt. Refreshments will be provided.
Note that this event will serve as the ORHPA monthly membership and public meeting (no meeting this month on the 2nd Thursday).
