Formed in the 1940s during the Manhattan Project era, the Oak Ridge Bombers weren’t just a semi-pro team—they were legends in the making. Competing against the South’s top talent in the Negro Southern League, they played with and against some of the greatest to ever touch the field. They helped lay the groundwork for baseball as we know it.
