The Oak Ridge Heritage and Preservation Association (ORHPA) invites you to a special program, “Two Daughters of Fission,” featuring authors Dr. Leslie R. Schover and Julie E. Coryell. Both are daughters of fathers who worked at X-10 during the Manhattan Project. The program will explore the impact of the Manhattan Project by comparing how the story is told through fiction and nonfiction.

The Oak Ridge Heritage and Preservation Association will hold its next meeting on Thursday, January 9, 2025 at the Oak Ridge History Museum in the Wildcat Den room, at 7:00 pm. The meeting is open to the public. The guest speaker will be historian Ron Evans.
The Oak Ridge History Museum is thrilled to announce the opening of its new Hutment Exhibit, which promises to transport visitors back in time to the Oak Ridge Manhattan Project era. On Saturday, April 1st, the museum will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the exhibit's opening and offer an unparalleled glimpse into a piece of history that shaped America.
